What is this blog about?

Basically it's about common sense, or the growing lack of it in the nation. It's a place to come and see just how silly we have become, and in some ways devolved, in the past couple hundred years as a nation and society.

Some basic examples:

Common sense will tell you...

...you can't drive a car with a cell phone in one hand and a coke in the other.
...a dog will die in a car with closed windows on a 100 degree summer day.
...if you cut down all the trees in the world you won't be able to breathe clean air.
...if you actually pay $3.00 for a gallon of gas the oil companies will keep raising prices.
...if you believe a politician, you get what you deserve.
...if you send people to die in another nation based on the "word" of a politician...see above.
...if there is a God he gave you common sense, if you don't use it, He's probably not very happy.
...if you make millions of dollars by making other's lives miserable, and are hated for it, don't be surprised.
...if you think your life is too hard, working two (or more) jobs, always on call, not getting benefits, being outsourced, etc. you only have yourself to blame for keeping a government paid for by big business.

That's the type of things this blog will be about. I might never post after this one. I might post a lot. It's just that I'm pretty tired of seeing things and hearing people exclaim "Oh, I'm so surprised" when it was something so obvious it was like a hammer hit them in the head.
